Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Filmmaking is a 4-year undergraduate program designed to train students in the art, craft, and technical aspects of cinema production. It combines creative storytelling emanating from the principles of Natyashastra and Rasa Theory with practical filmmaking skills such as directing, cinematography, editing, music & sound and AI. The program prepares students for careers in the film, television, OTT, advertising and digital media industries.
Technical skills: Working with professional cameras, lighting, sound equipment, editing software, vfx and AI tools.
Creative development: Storytelling, visual language, narrative structure, and aesthetic analysis.
Exposure: Critiques, festivals, guest lectures, and collaboration with peers.
