Somaiya Dhwani Chitram aspires to plunge into the study and understanding of storytelling using the medium of sound and moving image, emanating from a study and understanding of the Natyashastra.

6000 poetic verses across 36 chapters dramatic composition, literature, stagecraft, structure of performance, genres of acting, body movements, makeup and costumes, visual art, the musical scales, musical instruments and orchestration, integration of music with visual imagery.

About the Director
Narayan Parvathy Parasuram
An artist, educator and entrepreneur, Narayan Parasuram brings with him a unique blend of academic brilliance and creative depth. An alumnus of IIT Bombay and Clemson University, with a diploma in Sound Engineering from the Audio Institute of America, he is also a lifelong student of Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet.
